James “Jay” Lewis is former President and co-CEO of a large publicly traded retail energy company with over $4 billion in annual revenue and brings more than 25 years of experience to his role as Chief Executive Officer.


Lewis’ broad array of experience includes working for Fortune 10 companies, as well as growing start up organizations.  In addition, through his work on public, nonprofit and private boards, Jay has an in-depth understanding of strategic planning and execution, sound corporate governance practices, and strong capital allocation discipline.


His academic credentials include an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business, where was also a Consortium for Graduate Studies in Management Fellow. Prior to this, he earned a Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey.

 

Jay is also a member of National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and is a NACD Governance Fellow.  He currently sits on the boards of Chinquapin Preparatory School and Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council.
 

Jay has served as CEO Panelist for the Energy Thought Leadership Summit in 2018.  He was a Panel Member for the Congressional Black Caucus: Energy Summit in Washington, D.C. in 2017 as well as for National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) Conference, in 2016.
